RM Partners Community Grant Programme 2026-2027

We are pleased to announce that we've been awarded funding to support cancer awareness in our community through the 2026-2027 Community Grant Programme.

This has been funded by RM Partners, NHS Cancer Alliance and managed by Kingston Voluntary Action (KVA).

This funding will enable us to deliver three important cancer awareness campaigns between September 2026 and April 2027, helping local residents access trusted health information, understand cancer risk factors and learn about the importance of early detection and screening.

Our Cancer Awareness Campaigns

September 2026 - Know Your Risk

This campaign will focus on increasing awareness of cancer risk factors and encouraging people to take positive steps towards protecting their health.

November 2026 - Tobacco Related Cancers

Our second campaign will raise awareness of the link between tobacco use and different types of cancer.

April 2027 - Bowel Screening

Our final campaign will focus on the importance of bowel cancer screening and early detection.

Through this funded programme, we aim to:

  • Increase awareness and understanding of cancer prevention and early detection

  • Provide clear, accessible and culturally appropriate health information

  • Encourage participation in HNS cancer screening programmes

  • Address misconceptions, fears and stigma surrounding cancer

  • Help residents access reliable NHS information and support services

  • Strengthen community engagement and contribute to reducing health inequalities

Acknowledgement

We would like to express our sincere thanks to RM Partners NHS Cancer Alliance for funding this important initiative.

We are proud to be part of this initiative to improve cancer awareness and support better heath outcomes across Croydon.
